The six Slave Labor Graphics issues are still pretty good, but the reprints of the minicomics that came beforehand are completely clunky. I mean, I totally get it. It’s J Torres and Tem Levins finding their way for the first time as creators. But that doesn’t make them any easier to read.
The nostalgia factor is high with this one, but it doesn’t resonate with me the way it used to. I’m just in a different place in my life, it’s got nothing to do with the quality of the title.
