Aaron Thor

King Thor 1-4

And so ends Jason Aaron’s epic Thor run.  (Not including War of the Realms, which past me organized after this series for some reason.  We’ll find out tomorrow.

It’s honestly a bit of a letdown.  Future Thor gets into a massive cosmic-level fight with Gorr, who’s somehow back.  Of course.  It drags out for far longer than it needs to, even ignoring the plethora of “untold Thor story” teases that Aaron piles on top of everything.  Were I to buy it all again, I’d probably stop with the end of the Dauterman issues.

Not a bad final image for Thor.  Art by Esad Ribic and Ive Svorcina.

Original Sin: Thor & Loki 5.1

This came in the mail today, filling out the series I reviewed a couple of weeks ago.  Honestly, the series works fine without it, Aaron fills the reader in quite effectively in issue 2.  But still.  Completionist me.
