Unworthy Thor 1-5

A very well done story, super focused: Odinson is captured by the Collector, and spends the whole time trying to get his hands on the Ultimate Thor hammer from Thors.  We also find out what Nick Fury said to him in Original Sin to make him unworthy: “Gorr was right.”  Meh.

Thori, Hel-Hound of Murder, is the scene stealer of the series.  

Plus, Beta Ray Bill is always welcome.

Nice to see Olivier Coipel back on art after his earlier Thor run.

Mighty Thor 20-21

I had completely forgotten about the War Thor.  Volstagg lifts the Ultimate Thor hammer, his grief and anger fueled by the deaths of many, many elf children.  It’s pretty cool.  Jason Aaron writes fun comics.

The homage just isn't as good as the original....
