I don’t have very much to say about these, save that Darwyn Cooke was a national treasure and Donald Westlake was an amazing writer. I’m slightly tempted to read the original Parker novels, but I think I’d be disappointed by the lack of pictures.
Yet for some reason, this doesn’t get a Pure Joy rating. I’m not sure why. It’s soooo close. But my gut won’t take the leap.
