The Oracle Code
I’m finding that I don’t have a lot of things to say about these DC YA graphic novels. They’re not bad by any stretch, and they’re good for what they are. I have no reservations about sharing these with my daughter when she’s a little older. But they’re definitely going to be gateways to far better things.
For the record, this is about a Barbara Gordon who gets shot and paralyzed (by a robber, not the Joker) at a much younger age. She’s sent to an institute for kids recovering from physical trauma, and discovers new friends and a mystery to solve. It’s a nice character study of someone who’s familiar to the reader but not quite.
