Magic Order 2 1-6

This scene is still one of the more shocking ones out there.  Gotta give Mark Millar credit for it.  

The rest of the series is decent enough.  The Stuart Immonen art definitely helps.  But there’s nothing that helps it stand out from the standard “arrogant villain comes out of nowhere to wreck the heroes, who eventually come back to win in the last issue” formula that Millar seems to employ all the time.  (If I cared enough about his work, I’d go back and see how many of his stories actually follow that pattern.)
