Daredevil 76-81
The end of the Brian Michael Bendis/Alex Maleev run, and what a magnificent run it was. They end in fine form, as Kingpin’s schemes finally land Matt Murdock in jail.
One last excellent silent reveal. |
A fight I'd like to see. No idea who'd win. |
Not sure if I love or hate this moment. |
A fantasy future, but damn that's cold. |

Daredevil 82-87
Ed Brubaker and Michael Lark, an insanely talented duo in their own right, keep the momentum going. Matt, Kingpin, Punisher, and Bullseye end up in the same prison. Chaos naturally ensues. It’s definitely a different vibe from Bendis (way less talking, for one), but the handoff is completely seamless. If I remember right, this entire run is pretty darn good. Things don’t really start to break down until Andy Diggle takes over.
