Before rewatch:

• Scenes I love: Peter and MJ;  The other Peters; May’s death if it wasn’t so intense.  (It’s hard to love a scene like that.)  DD cameo.

• Expectations: This is an incredibly well done movie.  The only problem is that it’s so dark, and it’s hard to see Peter being put through that emotional wringer.  Also, it’s hard to buy him and Dr Strange ruining the initial spell so spectacularly.  Don’t buy that at all.

After rewatch: This is definitely the most emotionally engaging MCU movie.  I couldn’t not watch it as I went through it today.  I only cut everything starting from the final credits.  So good.
